HPC Chiropractic Clinic hired us to make a feature wall for their reception area that would be fun, wacky and crazy. The clinic caters to young children and is family oriented, so we decided to design a wall that had an inlaid stencil of their logo, surrounded by beautiful blues, whites and teals. This pattern was designed by GVP designs, and we originally called it chocolate swirl. The varying colours were all placed on a pallet and swirled together in varying amounts to produce a sheet of melded colour.

In order to produce a dramatic effect, GVP designs used our marmarino palladino first as a base coat, to ensure a 5 star finish. Marmarino palladino is our thicket and most versatile product, and ensures a uniform surface when viewed from an angle. Three coats of stucco lamundo were then applied in different colour combinations to produce the final swirl effect. The last coat was burnished to a high gloss, and water and speed of application ensured a uniform sheet of colour, different from the regular spatulatta works always done by others, which leaves a very scattered and patchy appearance of colour.
